You are looking for a little village in a huge ski area Saint Jean d’Arves offers authenticity and friendly atmosphere to the access to the biggest ski area of the Maurienne Valley.

Three types of ski passes are available for the pleasure of everyone. You can also discover about twenty hamlets, make easy walks for all levels in a protected territory where chalets set in a beautiful landscape near traditional farms. The destination Saint Jean d'Arves is also a wide range of activities for all the family: Hiking with snowshoes, Walks to discover our villages, Dog sledging, Farm visits, heritage visits, dairy visit, Paragliding, Snowpark, … Weekly entertainment program available in tourist offices and shops will complement your stay.

This wonderful site offers the opportunity to ski on all types of slopes with different modes of gliding but also to admire a magnificent panorama. From Saint Jean d'Arves - La Chal three levels of ski passes are available :

For beginners: "Initiation" (short area with 2 skilifts) + 1 baby lift
34 slopes : "Evolution Saint Jean d'Arves / Le Corbier"
136 slopes: "Les Sybelles"

Pedestrians are allowed to take the Charvin Express chairlift, to admire the view, for a walking with the sport leaders with snowshoes or to get to the restaurant in altitude with snowshoes. (Timetable for pedestrians: information close to the skilifts desk.)
