The playful areas of Val Thorens are the ideal spots to ride with your family. These areas have been redeveloped this season to allow children and beginners to progress while having fun! In Val Tho, lunar land par excellence, budding skiers go into orbit, to discover space, the cosmos and the moon.

This winter, meet Valthy and his friends (Abby the black bee, Chamy the chamois and Foxy the fox) on two new slopes and fun zones: The Space Trail and The Space Experience.

The opening of the new sports centre, "Le Board", at the beginning of December: 17,000 m² of new facilities
This winter, the brand new sports and cultural centre called "Le Board" will open its doors. The name refers to its characteristic snowboard-shaped roof: more than 3205m² of outdoor space on the rooftop, which offers a breathtaking view of the ski area and will be able to accommodate up to 3,000 people for all types of events.

13795 m² of indoor space dedicated to sports, games and water sports, as well as to BtoB and general public events.

There will be:A 1000m² aquatic area, the 1385m² Arena, the multi-purpose area of this new complex, fitness and body-building areas, the fun park, an area dedicated to seminars and the reception of professionals and the new bus station.

Val Thorens: the resort that combines skiing with the best of atmospheres!

Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe (2,300 metres). With its 600 kilometers of some 350 equipped slopes and 155 ski lifts, it is part of the largest ski area in the world: Les 3 Vallées.
