THE SKI AREA OF LES CONTAMINES-HAUTELUCE

Straddling the Savoie and Haute-Savoie, the Les Contamines-Hauteluce ski area has 48 slopes at an altitude of between 1,200 and 2,500 metres, on both sides of the Col du Joly. With exceptional snow and sunshine, the site offers a wonderful panorama from Mont Blanc to Beaufortain. The slopes wind through valleys, wide slopes, fir trees, chalets and alpine farms. Access is either from Contamines-Montjoie (two gondolas) or from Hauteluce-Belleville (one gondola) in Savoie.
