Kleinsölktal

Kleinsölk is located in the north-west of Styria in the nature park municipality of Sölk and lies within the Schladminger Tauern. An eight-kilometer border connects the village in the southwest with the province of Salzburg.

Picturesque mountain villages, gentle alpine pastures, wild mountain streams and impressive peaks shape the character of the Sölktäler, which also forms the framework for one of the seven Styrian nature parks, covering a total area of 288 km².

This award is also proof of a healthy habitat for people, animals and plants, where traditions are cultivated and good things are preserved.
