Cross-country skiing in Donnersbachwald/Riesneralm
The Hinterwald and Vorderwald cross-country ski trails lead through beautiful landscapes - meadows and fields, through snow-covered forest passages in the Donnersbach valley. Sparkling ice formations in the riverbed of the Donnersbach, which radiate around the bed in the sunlight, leave a special impression. The entire cross-country ski trail network in Donnersbachwald is 13.8 km long. It lies at altitudes of 900 m to 1,100 m and offers a low to moderate level of difficulty and is therefore also suitable for beginners to cross-country skiing. All trails are groomed for both classic and skating styles. Starting points are the Riesneralm parking lot and the parking lot in the town center/vis à vis Hotel Stegerhof. Use is free of charge. Have fun!
