The Val d’Ultimo/Ultental Valley is a pristine and pastoral valley not far from the spa town of Merano/Meran in South Tyrol/Südtirol. The valley offers numerous hiking trails along steep meadows, dense forests and mountain lakes with crystal clear water. Near to the lakes are ancient wells and mineral springs, and the head of the valley leads up to the unique Silfserjoch National Park.
