Biosphärenpark Großes Walsertal

Natural jewels, silent forces of nature and little secrets: 40 mountain peaks, including the Rote Wand at 2,704 meters, 230 km of marked hiking trails, themed trails, a climbing garden, 47 managed alps with alpine dairies and snack stations, summer mountain railroads, alpine and hiking buses, Lake Seewald and the colorful diversity of plants, museums, a wide range of art and culture and the Biosphere Reserve summer program are just some of the secrets that the Walsers in the Großes Walsertal like to share with their guests.

Somewhat off the main traffic routes, but still in the center of Vorarlberg, lies this mountain valley with its six communities and about 3,400 inhabitants.
