Grafenschachen is surrounded by a wooded area and is located at the foot of the Wechselmassiv. Leisure activities are very important for Grafenschachen and therefore a numerous amount of sports fields, ice rink and a tennis court can be found. Furthermore there is the possibility of hiking, cycling, horseback riding, fishing and hunting.
A point of interest could be the so called "Roman Bridge" which dates back to the mid-18th century.
