Asten

In Asten there are several possibilities to spend your precious free time in a varied way. Various clubs offer themselves for this. In the immediate vicinity there are recreational areas (e.g. Au-See, Pichlingersee) which are ideal for a comfortable walk or for sporting activities.

Due to its geographical location, Asten is an excellent starting point for various undertakings.

For example, the Donau-Steig stage 03 leads from Linz to Enns directly past Asten since 2010.

The neighboring communities of Enns - the oldest city in Austria, St. Florian - Bruckner organ and tomb of Anton Bruckner as well as Linz - the capital of Upper Austria offer many cultural sights and can be reached from Asten within a few minutes drive.

Due to the direct connection to the Danube cycle path there is also no way around Asten for sporty tourists.
