As one of the historic mining towns of the Upper Harz, Wildemann is strongly shaped by mining. In the ‘19-Lachter-Stollen’ visitor mine, you can discover the fascinating underground world and its history up close. The legend of the ‘Wild Man’ also continues to shape the town to this day.

Whether hiking, cycling, mountain biking or enjoying water activities on the ponds – Wildemann offers a wide range of leisure activities. In winter, the toboggan run, cross-country trails and winter hiking paths beckon. A special highlight is the indoor black-light mini-golf course “Glowgolf Harz”.
