Strolling through the beautiful shopping street, the Old and New Town of Sterzing, there is much to see and to discover. But did you know that from the pedestrian zone it is just a five-minutes’ walk to the station at the bottom of the Rosskopf 6-seaters gondola lift? From there you can reach an altitude of 1,860 m very comfortably, marvelling at a spectacular view while being transported. Up on the mountain you can indulge in all sorts of winter sports or simply enjoy the sun in front of the cosy mountain cabins.

Rosskopf is just anothr word for snow and sport, and fun on the slopes. Of course there is fun outside the prepared ski pistes, too, adventurous snowshoeing, for instance, or extensive sledging on the well-prepared 9.6 km family sledging run that takes you back down to the valley. The bottom station of the Rosskopf lift is only 2 km away from the motorway exit. From there you reach the sunny terrace of Sterzing within a few minutes. There you’ll find an unforgettable recreational paradise for the whole family!
