Лыжный район Maurach am Achensee / Rofan Seilbahn

The Rofan above Maurach is a family-friendly ski area with 11 kilometres of slopes. The Rofan cable car takes just five minutes to reach the top station at 1,840 metres above sea level. The varied slopes offer enjoyable skiing and snowboarding for families and beginners, as well as more experienced winter sports fans.

The area around the top station is also a great starting point for ski tours in the Rofan Mountains.

Several mountain huts are located close to the top station. The Erfurter Hütte of the German Alpine Club, the Almstüberl with Berggasthof Rofan and the Mauritzalm are perfect places to stop for a break and enjoy some food.

AIRROFAN Skyglider
For an extra thrill, try the AIRROFAN Skyglider. The ride starts at the Gschöllkopf and reaches speeds of around 80 km/h, descending 200 vertical metres – a special experience high above the Rofan Mountains.
