The steep ascent, also known as the "old Breslauer way," starts at the P9 junction, turning right, first along the broad forest road. After about 200 m, past the pasture fence, the path turns left at the signposts. Now we climb quite steeply to the Stableinalm through numerous switchbacks. If we look back, we always have a magnificent view of the mountaineering village and the surrounding mountain landscape.

Steep hiking trail below the double chairlift to the Stableinalm panoramic restaurant.
Wearing hiking equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, ankle-high hiking boots, wind, rain and sun protection, a hat, and possibly gloves is recommended! It is also important to bring sufficient food, a first aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a hiking map.
