“The Apple Road of the Pinerolese” is a road circuit of about 150 km crossing the fruit-growing areas of one of the most fertile and charming agricultural districts of our region, involving 14 municipalities (Bibiana, Bricherasio, Campiglione Fenile, Cavour, Cumiana, Frossasco, Garzigliana, Luserna San Giovanni, Lusernetta, Macello, Osasco, Pinerolo, Prarostino, San Secondo) dedicated to fruit growing, aiming to represent an attractive area for local tourism and the development of sustainable tourism. Natural corners, artistic and historical monuments – ranging from the little gem of the country chapel to the large basilica, from the ruins of ancient castles to large mansions and still visitable historic residences, museums, abbeys, historical routes – complete the cultural offer of the territory: nature routes dominated by the Rocca di Cavour, which at 162 meters high overlooks the entire surrounding plain.
From Pinerolo head towards Baudenasca. Turning left before the village church, you reach Macello. From here continue to Garzigliana. From the town, follow signs to Cavour, and after crossing SP 589, turn right (signs for restaurant Cà del Buc) towards the Gemerello hamlet. From here continue to the Babano hamlet and then, following Via Macello, you arrive at Cavour. From here continue to Bibiana, turning right onto Via Pellengo just before the town. Upon reaching Fenile and taking Via S. Michele, continue to Bricherasio, turning left onto Via Giaire and proceeding toward the old railway bridge. At Cappella Moreri, turn left then immediately right. At the junction with Via Godino Delio, turn left then right onto Via Pascoli. Continue along Via Airali Sup., then Via Biscaretti and Via Cardonata. From here turn right and continue towards Pinerolo.
Pinerolo can be reached by train from Turin.
