From Kapfenberg, known for its numerous world market leaders in many areas of high technology, the route leads through extensive forests and across mountain meadows with great views to Oberkapfenberg Castle. The rest of the loop then leads back to Kapfenberg's old town, with culinary rest stops high above the Mürztal valley.
