Gamsstein Round

On the Gamsstein , the Palfauer's local mountain, is one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in the Styrian-Lower Austrian Eisenwurzen.

Whether you choose the steepest route from the Palfauer Bergbauern and the Naturfreundehütte, look for the longest ascent via the Moaralm or climb from the NÖ Hollenstein over the Sandgraben - you will be rewarded with a magnificent mountain panorama! On these hot days you should get up early to escape the heat to some extent and reach the 1770-metre-high summit cross.
