In the Rodenegg Castle you immerse into the past and enjoy an interesting tour through old walls.

The mighty Rodenegg Castle overlooks the Rienz gorge. The privately owned salient building accommodates some of the oldest murals in all the German-speaking countries: The Ywein frescos form the heart of Rodenegg Castle. Immerse into the past and be enchanted.

Opening hours
Rodenegg Castle will be open again from 1 May 2023.

Guided tours of the castle take place daily except Saturdays at 11.30 am and 2.30 pm. In July and August there is an additional guided tour at 16.00 each day. The tours last about one hour.
