The Brandnertal with the villages Brand, Bürserberg and Bürs starts in the immediate vicinity of the Alpine town Bludenz in the south of Vorarlberg. Mountains, glaciers, forests, mountain lakes and rivers shape the landscape and people here in a special way. The Lünersee, at the end of the valley at 1970m and at the foot of the Schesaplana, with 2965m the highest mountain in the Rätikon, is one of the most beautiful alpine lakes, a well-known excursion destination and a hiker's paradise.
